"Last year I decided I wanted my Motorcycle License. I had very little experience, so I decided to take the Pa Motorcycle Saftey Course. While waiting to take the course I was getting the fever to purchase a Harley, but the bottom line was I was a bit over whelmed, so I checkened out on the Harley and purchased a Honda Shadow 750, which, I loved, but, honestly, the whole time I rode it and owned it, I looked at Harley Davidson Softails every single day. Finally, although still scarred to death I walked into the Steel City Harley Shop and ran into Matt Evans. I told him I rode, Told him I wanted a Harley but was a bit intimidated and didnt think I could even ride one. Well, the short of it is this, Matt told me that, not only could I ride the Deluxe I purchased, that I would also, Love it, and thereafter always wonder why I bought the Honda to begin with. Bottom line, I did purchase my Deluxe, Matt put it up at the front of the lot on Demo day, he kept asking me if I wanted to demo ride the shops Bike, I said, "heck No" I own my own Deluxe. Honestly, with all those Harley riders there on Demo Day, I thought when it was time to take off, I was going to choke. Never happened. I took off on that Deluxe and it was unbelievable, it is the sweetest riding machine you could ever imagine. I'm 48 years old, always wanted a Harley, If it wasnt for Matt. Art discovered that the re build kit for the rear master cylinder on my bike was the same as a Harley Sportster. I bought the kit and now the old bike is rideable. "Wow ! What a difference between the old " Washington Harley " staff and the new " STEEL CITY HARLEY " staff. I recently bought my Harley at Steel city and was extremely pleased with the entire staff. Sales, F&I, service, parts and accessories/apparel. I had to sell my old bike ( 1994 Magna ) and D.J. called a client. The guy called me back within an hour and he bought my bike the next day ! I didn't even have to make 1 phone call or advertise to sell my old bike. My advice to anyone who had a bad experience with the old staff is do yourself a favor and give the new staff a try. "Just bought my 2005 Road King FLHR-I at Washington. I went to two other dealerships before I stopped here. When I walked in Larry asked if he could help me as I started to look at the first bike. I told him what I was looking for, then what I was hoping to get, and my payment wishes. He looked up the inventory and found what I was looking for, not settle for, with more options than expected, and even in my first choice of colors I was looking for. By the time he was done and finance was finished, my payments were only $17 more than I had hoped. When I picked up the bike, it was to late in the night to have it cleaned from the sales floor, but was checked out and ready to go. Dan took the time to explane more things than I knew about my trade in Harley. I know that I will be in great hands with service on my bike. I have delt with Dan prior to this shop and he will help you with all your concerns, problems, & questions, and be honest about things. With Dan there, don't be frightend of buying a pre-owned bike either. They will be checked and serviced well. The bike I almost settled for, at an undisclosed city shop, was a stripped down version of the same bike - same year, with no extras at all, an ugly red, and $3,500 more. The extras that I would have needed / wanted were another $2,500+. Now the only extras that I must have are around $600. Chears to ALL of your staff. I'm glad I didn't get scared away by how people talked about the old store. I've already refured friends to the store and one is interested in buying a bike already. KEEP UP ALL THE GREAT WORK and keep your staff happy. They are all frendly and joke around in a pleasant way that makes you fill welcome there and part of your family there. Tom S, Monessen, PA"

" I bought my 2003 Harley new from the old Washington store. A disaster on the service end from day one of ownership. The second service interval where I had oil all over the handlebars and seat, in addition to missing the rear seat bolt, ended my bike being serviced by Washington Harley. This was a shame as I knew I would be only 7 minutes away from the new store they would be building by the Meadows Race Track. Last week I sat down and had a long discussion with Pokey concerning my past history with Washington Harley. Pokey was genuinely interested in hearing my story and went on at some length about how things changed in the service department. I was introduced to Dan, the new Service Manager, and was impressed with his credentials and experience. Pokey and Dan definitely wanted me to give the shop another chance, and sensing the genuine sincerity in both Pokey and Dan, decided to give Steeel City Harley another shot at my baby. I cannot begin to describe the quality and quickness in which the bike was serviced. This was the 20,000 mile service, a more involved service routine than any prior intervals. The bike was returned in a more pristine appearance than when I dropped her off, and she was clean then! I am completely satisfied with the new service at the shop and HIGHLY RECOMMEND any past dissatisfied Harley owner to give Pokey and Dan a chance to prove our local shop is worthy of our business.
